The Field Recruiting Coordinator Position
In conjunction with the HR Manager, the Field Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for partnering with the Director of Field Operations, Project Managers, and Field Supervisors to understand the long and short-term staffing needs in the field. The role is responsible for developing and executing a recruiting strategy to attract talent during key hiring periods, as well as continuous communication with prospective candidates to develop a solid pipeline of qualified talent for future needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Constant communication with candidates to develop rapport and knowledge about C.A Hull’s hiring needs
  • Oversight of the Employee Referral Program, including implementing unique ideas about how to attract qualified field talent
  • Outreach to various vocational schools, high schools, colleges, construction associations and union centers to develop rapport with key personnel
  • Assists with the Mentorship program, including providing areas of improvement for long-term success


Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Field Recruiting Coordinator Position

  • Proactive and constant verbal communication is a must
  • A Bachelors’ degree, or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in Recruiting is required, preferably with construction field staff
  • Construction experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to know your audience as it relates to communication preferences

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Field Recruiting Coordinator
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a competitive compensation package based on skills and experience. This role will require occasional travel throughout Michigan to various worksites.
